Hi there, welcome to the journals of, well that's not important. What is important are the past few years of my life. Things have taken an abrupt turn that I did not foresee. Life is full of mysteries isn't it? You think one thing and another happens.
So you see I wasn't fully prepared for the life I currently live. That is in my car. Though I wasn't really prepared for life even by the "normal" standards. But I've come a long way. I said goodbye to my cramped 2001 dodge Durango and finally got myself a van. Now since I began living in my van things have gone from total discomfort to absolute bliss. I mean just the freedom alone is so pure.
No more bills, Internet and cell phones excluded of course. I mean I have to make money somehow and with the ever growing technology it's so much easier than having a "real" job. I used to have a "real" job back when living in apartments and houses were my normal. But that's overrated
Finally the forever tightening chains of tradition, and stagnation, and the relentless broken record that is normal, have shattered completely. Leaving me free to roam where I please. To taste and experience life's delicacies. To unearth answers to the question I have restlessly wondered. But even so after 22 years of clinging to ordinary my wrists, ankles, and heart with forever bare the scars of normalcy. But that's okay.
Because right now I am in one of the most beautiful places. And it happens to be where my husband grew up. Germany, if you haven't been I would highly recommend you do so. Once you see the differences of another world after being surrounded by nothing but the same your whole life it's hard not to fall in love. The daily change of scenery is so refreshing. It's like being in an artist's mind and watching him paint new places with different features. Always something new, always something different. And I will never let that go.

Today I'm waking up along the beach on Sylt island also known as Queen of the North Sea. The sun is rising. My husband is gone. Typical, he rises earlier than the sun most times no matter what side of the world we happen to be on.
He should be back soon probably with more beer... or water. I Just tried the shower, nothing but the hum of a filter filtering an empty water tank. Great. I guess I'll make breakfast. Let me tell you about my home while I contemplate showering in the kitchen sink which, thankfully, has it's own water tank. Should I?
In the van you'll find a two burner stove with a makeshift sink next to it. Thank you dollar tree. I really wanted to fit a stove on here and i have the room but the thought of it blowing up or having a gas leak was enough to deter me from that idea. It's bad enough we have a total of 4 propane tanks in here, some relatively small. One for the stove, one for the water heater, and 2 others for back up. Next to the stove you'll find a pantry that also contains my fridge. The pantry mostly holds all the non perishable foods and cooking oil.
Along the side of my pantry and my favorite section of the kitchen is my spice drawers. No not spice rack. You know those old miniature dressers you can spot in many old folks houses? Yeah, that is filled with my spices. I know, genius right? Above and below the stove I have many pockets for extra storage. Pots, pans, dishes, cleaning supplies, all things typical in a kitchen.
Now if you turn around you'll see two doors opening our to the long sandy beaches of Sylt. The ocean waves stretching out to meet the sky until they become one. Going to the back of the find is my super code bedroom. In there fits a closet, a tv, an Xbox, a queen size bed, and varies pocket that hold various items. Behind my bed are two more doors open to display a lovely picture of earth rising and falling. Between the bedroom and the kitchen, I'm sure you can guess, is my bathroom. I have to say showering inside is far better than the other choice.
After one too many unwarranted incidents I have made I a personal demand to relocate the shower. Up to along the roof of my home is more storage. Camping gear, car equipment, safety kits, a few knives, and even fewer guns. You can never be too careful.

Shit! I just dropped an egg. Eggs are by far the worse mess to clean up involving food of course. I know many other cleanings I would hate to do rather than one cracked egg. But still I can never get used to the almost slime like clear part of the egg.
What is it called? The albumen? I don't know but it's gross. To clean that is. Everyone I try to wipe it up a long gooey strip flows back down to the floor, sometimes with an audible thwack. Rock! Thank God I didn't eat yet.
I'll just slightly look away while I begin to attempt to clean it. There we go. Now we can cook. I have to say I was never big on cooking back when I lived like you norms. A few nights a week sure but it was mostly take out the rest of the week. But how good is take out. When living in a smaller space always 3 feet away from the same near full kitchen with a damn near empty bank account I had to choose. And there's really nothing like a home cooked meal that you prepared yourself right?
I put the potatoes in a pan of oil and prepared the rest of my ingredient for this meal. Now I think k it's time I take a break. Get my creative juices flowing. I made my way to my bed, climbed up, and pulled away a piece of the wall. In the wall I pulled out a medium sized dark wood box. On the box read, "medicate then masturbate" A joke from the person who made me this box. He's really funny and very open minded. I think you'll like him. Inside the sodden box was a gift from another grind of my. A small pink and white glass blown pipe. The word "Liebe" etched along the side. That means love.
Finally having fathers my supplies I leaned against my pillows and opened the baggy that held my "medication". I love that first whiff of cannabis that hits you as you opens the container. I will never stop loving the sticky sweet bud. As I smoked I watched the sun fully illuminate this side of Earth. Warming the trees, chasing away the shadows, giving you one more day. It's almost taunting as if to say, "you saw me today, but will you tomorrow?" If we were so lucky

I think I'm burning the potatoes. There's a faint charred smell in the air. I should check them.
Nope they're good, perfectly golden brown. Okay, maybe there's a few pieces of potatoes that have a little extra char on them. But who doesn't like they're potatoes a tad bit crispy? This is why we smoke before we cook or during. Really as long as your close enough to pay attention to the food and not having a mental conversation with the sun. Ok, time to add the pepper, onions, and garlic. God, I love the smell of onions and garlic. In another pan I have some olive oil heating up with some butter. I threw in a bundle is herbs mostly thyme and rosemary. Now I'll add the left over steak from the previous night. The sound of the sizzle when the meat his the hot pan is like oral pleasure to my ears.
Potatoes and peppers are almost done. I live etching people cook, it's so relaxing.

My husbands back. And he has two tanks of water, excellent. I really need a shower.
"Smells sehr lecker babe." That's means very delicious.
"Thanks hun. It's almost done just waiting on the eggs.
"Good timing. How did you sleep?" He asks then placed a small kiss on my forehead.
"Great. Thanks for not waking me by the way. Very gentlemanly of you." I smiled.
He hates being up early without a friend to talk to. He's so social, like a puppy that won't let you stop playing with them.
"You're lucky we ran out of water so I had something to do." He smiled.
Yeah, lucky me.
9:00
Well breakfast is done, water is hooked up I guess I'll leave it here. Time to eat, clean, and get more supplies. Were supposed to be heading to Amsterdam tomorrow morning. You know what that means. Drugs, drugs, and more aspirin.
I really just want to get lost in a cannabis club or whatever they call them there. Or a cannabis coffee shop, I was never really big on coffee, but I'm sure if there was weed in it is be okay with a cup of keifer joe in the morning.
Until next time.
really loving it!
