Oh my gosh Ashely where have you been? You haven't posted anything in almost two days!? We miss you!
Calm down everyone I'm back. I'm sorry i missed a day, technically two, but let me soothe your worries with events that have taken place the past two days. They have been quite interesting. We met a transient couple who are pretty cool. Cant really remember their names right now. Lets just say Tommy and Tammy. And like i said they're pretty cool. They had some kind of van, lets just say Ford, and the back of it was really nice. I mean the bed looked so comfortable and all their necessities and junk was in its place truly an awakening.
Now our car isn't a filthy metal box filled with trash and rotting food. Its just not "organized". Technically those things that look like they don't have a place is already in its place. We do need some structuring tho. Speaking of, Tommy and Tammy, you remember them? They gave us some blinds, a curtain, and those silver panel thingies. My memory is s joke. Anyway it made an impact on me. I never met another van lifer. Ive seen them of course but I've never conversed with any.
If you don't know me I'm very quiet but once you get a few drinks in me i wont shut up. Shy but capable of interaction. So when we met them and got to talking i realized this isn't so bad. This "human interaction" thing. It was fairly nice. I enjoyed myself immensely and learned quite a bit.
The next day we went to Mayberry Park and sat in the car on our phones. But it wasn't at all boring. There was a silent connection i felt. Really just relaxed and happy and thankful. Nothing irritating or negative happened and we watched so many cute doggies playing and running with their owners. It was lovely, my husband and i just enjoying eachothers company. And if you follow me on snapchat you would see the cute filtered pictures we took. #transientlifer
Today I got off of work about 3 hours ago. It was a boring day, nothing exciting happened. Although there was this one older lady that was very persistent with getting a coupon she did not have. Aggravating. I actually escaped the register today. I was tasked with what we staplers like to call "upstock", i won't bore you with the details. But i will say this, it was so much better being on the floor than behind that counter.
Waiting endlessly for a customer to make their way to you only to be swept away by a more experienced employee because I didn't know the answer to you question. Watching customer after customer head over to the print and copy center. Replying to my greeting of "hello" with an unenthusiastic "hi" that required no energy and a limp wave of the hand.
Yeah that was my day. And now it's the next day and I'm tired. Although I'll most likely be awake for a while watching youtube and playing random games that look interesting on google play but are as always a disappointment.
I used a cordless vacuum.
